EXHIBITION OPPORTUNITIES:

Litsa Spanos of Art Design Consultants in the downtown Pendleton Arts Center called us to offer Tiger Lily Artists the chance to lease one of their galleries for exhibition space.  They have recently turned one of their rooms into a gallery to allow individual artists the chance to show at the building.  Currently there is a waiting list for artists to be part of the Pendleton.  This new gallery lease option allows artists great exposure to the 500-800 people that come through each month along with interior designers that Miss Spanos does business with.  The space is near the front of the building and gets viewed by all people who enter.  She is leasing out 4 individual walls that range between $215-$260 per wall.  Artists retain 100% of any sales. If you are interested call Litsa Spanos at 513-723-1222.  www.artdesignconsultants.com

The Carnegie Visual and Performing Arts Center in Covington, Kentucky is looking for Artists for its Exhibition Season 2010.  The deadline for submission is May 1, 2009.  Contact information:   Bill Seitz, Gallery Director  859-957-1944  or  bseitz@thecarnegie.com   www.thecarnegie.com

The Marx Gallery show that we were trying to schedule for the fall of 2009 has been cancelled.

WORKS IN PROGRESS
The directors would like to make 2009 a year to focus on producing new prints so that we can keep the work that represents Tiger Lily fresh and interesting.  We hope to have many artists printing throughout the year and are planning a gathering to share completed work,  works in progress, and any art related dialogue in August or September.
