Paste Paper Workshop
this Saturday, February 28
10:00-2:00
at Tiger Lily Press

Free to Members
$20 for non-members

The workshop will be taught by Greater Cincinnati Calligraphers Guild and Cincinnati Book Arts Society members Patricia Bertsch and Jo Diamantes.

Paste Paper is a process similar to finger painting that is used to create decorative papers for use in bookmaking, cards, and other art projects.  Traditionally, the pigment is applied to the paper using brushes, cardboard, etc.  Recently, we tried the process using monotype techniques (stencils, impressions of leaves, lace, etc.) and got some beautiful results.
Jo and Patty will also teach us how to make a small card sized portfolio and a small booklet using the paste paper that we create.  They will bring other items they have made for us to see as well.
