Artist Statement:
The current series is both an investigation of poetry in visual form and a study of the fluid
dance-like movement of narrative. As I combine images on a plate, what guides me is
a sense of a presence that needs to manifest itself. Figures interrelate in a landscape of
darkness and mystery. As the eye moves around the image,
emotional scenes cohere in a fluid movement,
a form of dance, a kind of storytelling.
Events free and open to the public.
